Director Biography - Oliver Duffy

Nathan has directed twelve short films, and aims to write/direct feature films & television episodes as his career progresses. He is 22 years old, was born in Bradford and graduated from the Northern Film School in 2020. He tries to combine visceral imagery with an emotional core, leaving an impact long after his films have been watched.

"Don’t Look Back was conceptualised as I was carrying out my OCD night-time routine and suddenly thought; 'What if someone was stood watching me do this?'. As the premise was developing I lost a family member and this pushed the narrative towards different ways of dealing with loss. - Don’t Look Back aims to give more than a traditional horror film, it aims to leave a lasting emotional impact."
