Director Statement

For “Don’t Blink”, I wanted to take a play out of Wes Craven’s book and try my hand at turning something mundane into something terrifying. Blinking is something fundamental, overlooked, but best of all… involuntary. So, for this film, I wanted to draw attention to this seemingly ordinary act and turn it into a source of dread and suspense. And thus, create a new intrusive thought in everyone’s brain that says you might see something out of your nightmares the next time you blink your eyes.
