Dog Housecalls

Dog Housecalls is an animated short cartoon made up of a series of vignettes about Veterinarian Hospital and its animal staff and patients. Director Statement

This movie really started out as a dream project for my partner because he got the basic concept of the cartoon from his Dad, who was a doctor, and whom he wanted to honor. After some stops and starts, we really just started making this one day, and it grew organically as we went along. This was a two man project animated largely on typing paper over the process of many years. If it never saw the light of day, I doubt anyone would have been surprised, and that it has still takes me by surprise! And, of course, we were not just two guys, because everybody who collaborated with us along the way, from our voice actors and technicians to our great composer, kept elevating our cartoon which, in turn, inspired us to push on and finish the damn thing. Thanks for watching.
