Night Chills/ FKA Devil's in the Details
One hot summer night, when a young woman looks for a cab in the streets of L.A, she's trapped in a car driven by a weirdo, and tries to escape. Inspired by the true story of Debbie Harry's (a.k.a. Blondie) encounter with Ted Bundy, transposed to modern times.

Nadejda means hope in Russian. Raised in a village in Siberia before she moved to France at 8 years old, Nadejda finally moved to Los Angeles 2 years ago.
With 6 years of experience as a production assistant/ coordinator on a wide variety of projects (high-end commercials to feature films), Nadejda has been lately exploring her artistic side, writing screenplays and taking a UCLA course to direct her first film.
Her first project is a very short film - "Devil's in the Details" - that she will be shooting mid-August. She's also developing a slate of three feature screenplays, all taking place in Siberia, Yakutia. The first one has won a pitch competition organized by Raindance.
"Devil's in the Details" is about the question of how to live free in a man's world. I've been raised by a mother who always told me to be back home before midnight, like in a Cinderella film. Having an education where you are told to be on your guard with men is already traumatizing.
But what I love about Debbie is her resilience. Hence this screenplay that I think is still relevant to our society today.
