The victim not even dare to speak up because of the stigma in public that gonna blame her for everything. So many pressures the victim felt, so many things happen behind the scene, and this film will be showing the condition that the victim going through from the beginning after the incident, the threats, and the victim struggling for justice, until now.

Director Biography - Azalia Syahputri

Azalia Syahputri is a filmmaker based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. She is currently a student at Indonesia Institute of Arts Yogyakarta majoring in TV & Film and is set to graduate in 2022. Azalia's had been making short film projects for her college task and exam in the last 2 years, with her mostly being either producer or director. Her first time experience watching Inception by Christopher Nolan has been hooked her in filmmaking ever since. Her dream is to be a full-time experimental documentary director and having her own space for discussing experimental documentary.

Director Statement

Perpetrators of sexual violence are now evolving. Not only in direct contact, but now there are more cases of indirect sexual harassment, and this is not given much attention by the public, namely revenge porn. Most survivors do not dare to reveal their stories and instead become the one to blame. What is felt by survivors of revenge porn? How do survivors of revenge porn struggle with their problems? In cases like this, is the victim are the one to blame? These questions will be discussed in "Dystopia".
