World War I Drama which centers around the Life and Death of Painter Franz Marc.

First world war. The young soldier Mark Heinrichs is already fighting for 2 years. He meets his new lieutnant Franz Marc - the great German painter. Both go on a dangerous mission, but the war - even in the heads - is closer than expected.

Director Biography - Christian Koch


"I was terrified when I saw John Carpenter's Halloween for the first time at the age of 6, but in hindsight I also saw the raw power of cinema for the first time." Christian Koch was born on the 24th of May in 1989 in a little village in East Germany. He soon discovered his love for stories and especially movies. He began filming skateboard videos with local skaters of his area. During his aprenticeship as an industrial mechanic he wrote and directed his film debut 'Cut Wide Open' , a horror film in the tradition of the 80s Slasher Movies. After a couple of short movies he enroled in the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany in 2016. There he wrote and directed a comedy short fim called 'Low on Gas' about a clerk who works at a Gas Station and the thriller/crime drama short film 'MIA or Lenin and Hitler are robbing a bank'(2018). In 2018 he directed the World War I Drama 'Grauer Reiter - Dark Horsemen', which premiered at FEST in Portigal-. It also won several prices. After that he made psycholigical drama with thriller aspects, called "A CHRISTMAS CAROL". His Bachelor Film "LIPS & TIPS" is his latest film and is a highly suspenseful Thriller with the upcoming Actress Vivien König as Main Actress. The Film centers around a stewardess who is stalked by a mysterious stranger. He has a huge film and soundtrack collection is obsessed with films and filmhistory and watches at least one movie a day.
