City Rats - Unknown Parallel World
Disease and plagues - since time immemorial, rats have been blamed for all evil. The bad reputation stubbornly sticks to them. To this day, great lengths are taken to persecute and poison the animals. But how useful is the fight against rats really? And is it justified?
Apart from the interest humans show in rats as laboratory animals, science has long neglected the subject of rats. That is about to change. Whether in Vancouver, Helsinki, Paris, York or Berlin - large research projects are now investigating for the first time whether and how humans can live together with their secret neighbours.
The documentary CITY RATS - UNKNOWN PARALLEL WORLD immerses itself in the world of the intelligent animals and provides a new and unexpected understanding of the feared synanthropic creatures.
