Los Angeles native William Michael Anderson earned his MA from The London Film School in January, 2020. He has been a Finalist at LA Shorts Fest and USA Film Festival, Recipient of Panavision's 'New Filmmaker's Program' and has had his work selected at a number of Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying festivals.
Caravan was produced as a graduation film for the London Film School. As a Mexican-American filmmaker, I have always been fascinated by stories of oppression and injustice. Voicing the opinions of outsiders has always been a theme in my work. I was preoccupied by a simple conceit while writing the screenplay: What happens when an innocent man stands accused? And how far will one go to clear their name? The ensemble features such notable talent as Joerg Stadler (Saving Private Ryan) and John Lynch (Night Train). It is a Neo-Western based on true stories from the West Country, England. Shot on 35mm motion picture film on location in Essex and London.
