David is the distinguished holder of multiple degrees. Since 2011, David Power is a Focused Visualization Meditation Facilitator in Golden DNA Facilitation & DNA Masters Activation from the Higher School for Conscious Evolution in Malibu, CA & Cancun, Mexico. The Meditation practice and its protocols are named: OneLovePower. This practice aligns each of us with the infinite awareness of the quantum field. The awareness enables all to co-create in the energy of the sentient gradient. It utilizes the immortal and eternal languages within the ultra-dimensional geomancy of light, color, symbol and sound. The guiding principle activating and engaging these languages is Unconditional and Divine Love. In 2008, he completed an Associates Certification in Mind- Sound Meditation Facilitation from Mind Sound Science Technology in Chennai, India. MInd-sound technology utilizes encoded sound to actualize the individual mind at its best operational frequencies. The actualization integrates the self within the Great Silence in all matters and forms. Harmonizing oneself to the abundance creates the pathways that are to be experienced in a time/space duality as a life worth living instead of enduring a life of survival.

David has also travelled the planet in the fashion industry as a top Model with Donna Karan Menswear, DKNY USA and Pal Zileri Menswear in Milan, Italy. In the previous millenium, from 1983-1987, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Brandeis University. While there he capped his athletic career as the Captain of the 1987 Men’s Basketball Team.

David resides in New York City and is married to his love of 29 years, Lauren.

Together they are blessed with a beautiful son.

Unique traits: Hopefully a decent sense of humor. The philosophy I aspire to live by is: "Take what you do seriously, but don't take yourself too seriously."

Writer Statement

Writing is a joy, a lonely and consistent unrelenting joy.

Life is all about relationships. Relationships we have with others and with ourselves. Regardless the industry, the climate or place, we all endeavor to thrive in our life.
The beauty and wonder of looking in on another’s path in life gives us credence to inwardly define and at times, refine our own existence from this external view. It is the
essence of what wisdom, learning and knowledge base their truths upon. During my lifetime I have had many opportunities. Some have taken me to levels I had not thought
to ponder on my own. While others hopefully have taught the lessons which enrich our existence both without and within. In researching and developing a story based upon
two historical figures who sat at the genesis of modern America, I knowingly set out to discover their story not from the hindsight of history, but rather from their emotional
lens of being two humans trying to make sense of their reality just as you and I are now in 2020 America and the world beyond. The greatness of history is not knowing the
names of the warriors and conquerors who took as they would and did as they please. Rather, if we take a beat to recognize each as human, just as we are, then the context
can be more readily identifiable as just that, common traits we all possess in all times. There are differences. No panacea nor naivete can render away the minutes,
but the majesty of all of us is to know the humanity we all equally engender.

I look to history. Specifically, to what we in the West call “The Founding Fathers of America”.
I look closer. Specifically to the lives of George & Martha Washington.
Many great films have been made and are being made about modern men and women across the globe who have an impact in our modern world.
We need only to look not to the past but to the present, this year where “Vice” was nominated for an Academy Award. Or again, to the year before, in 2018 where Gary Oldman
won Best Actor for his portrayal of Sir Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour”. The world teaches most of us history through film, music and television today. Very few sit down to
study a book about a person of our common past anymore.

Point being, whomever any of us believes ourselves to be today, certainly any of us who identify with modern humanity, who ever we are our lives have been inextricably intertwined
with these two people who presided over the creation of our modern times first Democratic Republic, The United States of America.
Before them, the idea of a self-governed society truly was a dream for the privileged few.
Since Martha & George Washington, in less than 250 years the world has seen the formation of over 287 Democracies.
Judge what you will, say what is off or wrong, but know that the world is coming together inspite of so many who wish it not to be so.

In his farewell address, President George Washington knew, just as all after him have, as we all do today:
“the unity of government constitutes you one people.
It is justly so, for it is the main pillar in the edifice of your real independence,
the support of your tranquility at home, of your peace abroad, of your safety, of your prosperity,
and for the very liberty you so highly prize. But as it is easy to forsee, that, from different causes and from different quarters,
much pains will be taken, and many artifices employed to weaken in your minds the conviction of this truth, the verity of this union.”

From our hindsight view, their era is as condemnable as any in all of our individual and collective human history.
The horrors of genocide, exact physical slavery and complete gender disregard punctuated every one of these people’s
daily existence.
So how is it?
Why was it?
Why did this group of humans come together and provide The Societal Template for individual human sovereignty when so
many others like them before and since could never find the mark?

Who were these humans that even though they themselves could not live in it, nor did they create the actual society itself for
themselves?
Who are they to dare to dream to create a society of self-governed individuals?
Encoded forever, not as a perfected union, but in search of the “more perfect union”?
And most importantly forever through time, they did not say “I “, rather they most clearly stated,

“We the People”.

From that all else stems, a new pathway for modern times, for all of us.

Our relationship with them, now long since past in the physical realm, is as clear and
true as any we possess today in whatever manner of lifestyle we acclaim.
For it is their foundation, their vision, however described, that has afforded all of us the right to know
we are free, to pursue our passion not as a hope for acceptance, but as a right already won.
Their relationships with freedom of thought, of person and of mind is our fruition. It is the essence of our generations individual and collective liberty.
It is our relationship with them, to the principles they knowingly encoded that openly allows us to walk our individual and collective paths as clearly
as any other who have ever walked before us.

Modern cinema should be as fearless in its precision as these Founders were in their confusion
on what it meant to be a sovereign human on this planet.

Life is all about relationships. The ones we make with others and with ourselves.

It would be my pleasure to come together to create something we care for and wish to share with others.

Kind regards,

David M Power
