Blame

An Iranian actor/screenwriter, who was dissatisfied with his work under censorship, immigrated to Europe with the hope that in the new country, he should continue his career in freedom and have better opportunities and more success than his country. But, he had no success in working as an actor or screenwriter in the new country and was forced to work as a salesman for subsistence. He has not been able to start a family and is unhappy with his life in Europe. One day, he dreams one of his professional desires, which ends in a nightmare. After waking up, his superego comes to him and starts reviewing the past, remembering his mistakes, and criticizing him. After a long conflict, he is convinced that his career under censorship in his country was more valuable than his working life in Europe. Eventually, he surrenders to the superego and thinks about returning to his homeland and fighting against censorship.
