Director Statement

For several years I've been making films and podcasts for and about kids. I dreamed up this short film because I wanted to make a film with MY kids. They love movies, and I wanted to give them a chance to see first hand what it takes to make one. They are also the ones who inspired me to write a story that includes magic and fantasy.

This entire film was made by my family and our next door neighbors, who are also my kids' best friends. That's why you'll only see two surnames in the entire cast and crew. Two families, four kids, a little hard work, and a lot of fun.

I hope watching this short reconnects you with your inner child and reminds you that you are braver than you think.
