Baby Song by Wicked Kiss

Led by sisters Cathy (vocals) and Barb "Thee Animal" (drums), Arizona Indie rock band, Wicked Kiss, released their high energy debut single (original song) "Baby Song" and the accompanying video in March 2022. Featuring an electric violin solo by Rosie Langley ( violinist for ELO), the song and video reflect their love of all things 80s and takes a fun, but obvious swipe at the sexism both girls have encountered throughout their musical journeys, and their drive to create their own destiny. Although both girls have long careers in the music industry, this is their first project working together, and they financed, researched, and co-produced not only the recording of Baby Song, but the video and all social media pages themselves. Their desire was to create a female-influenced and female-empowered project, regardless of genre! The video also pays subtle homage to their Arizona roots and their musical heroes such as Heart, Runaways, and Stevie Nicks, and their love of 70s and 80s rock and pop music.
