Private Project

BENJAMIN

Roma and refugees around a refugee structure in the Eleonas area of Athens.
Used objects and bodies in an urban island, in an uninhabited and hybrid space.
Passengers, residents and nomads of the city, workers and rock collectors enter and exit the frame of a fluid spatial reality.
The connecting link of all these elements is the story of a 17-year-old refugee from Congo who dreams of becoming a great basketball player, like Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Benjamin's tracks will be lost when the Greek government decides to close the Eleonas structure and transfer the refugees to other enclaves.
