Director Statement

'Ashes Of Tyranny' grew organically shot-by-shot influenced by the lyrical quality of the music and the political climate during the 2020 US election.

Education of the Holocaust started early in my youth having been brought up in a Jewish household. The memories of seeing a relative try and hide her tattooed arm having been branded by the Nazis as an undesirable have always stuck with me. This short film grew out of these real present day fears.
