Amos, Vogel
Jumping into his memories, Amos relives the conversations he had with his late friend, Vogel. In the reunions, he will see the spark of their relationship, as well as the encrypted assistance his best friend sought in the form of a question: How long do clouds live?

Born in Mexico, Iñaki is the co-founder of Cine Acrílico, a production company responsible for various short films and audiovisual productions. He received his training at SAE Institute Mexico, becoming part of a generation of filmmakers eager to explore the possibilities of storytelling and the camera. From narrative presentations showcased at festivals like Shorts Mexico to commercial projects for bands and companies, his experience as a director of photography, editor, and producer has provided him with a solid foundation as the director of his diverse projects. Alongside presenting his thesis work, Iñaki is also initiating the development of Cine Acrílico's first feature films.
Amos, Vogel is born out of the urgency to explore through the camera the reminiscence of a male romance. In the relationship of the protagonists, we seek to define the destruction of Amos' memories. The short film delves into the experience of remembering and forgetting, using various photographic techniques such as sweeping images, out-of-focus shots, and overexposure; to construct a story where emotion prevails over anecdotal details.
The different speeds at which the scenes unfold aim to simulate the process of recalling the past. Events jump between each other, and moments stretch or accelerate, depending on what the protagonist feels as he remembers them.
Like clouds, images, and events transform the more you try to remember them.
The goal of the short film is to leave the viewer unable to recall precisely what happened but with a vivid awareness of how it made them feel.
