Director Biography - T.L. Benton

T.L. Benton is a filmmaker born in Wichita Kansas and based out of our Nation's Capitol in Washington DC. A graduate from the illustrious Howard University, Benton has emerged as one of the leading storytellers in the District and beyond. His documentary 'We Have The Numbers: Gun Violence in America" was showcased at the 2019 DC Black Film Festival and his works have also included some of the biggest names in culture featuring Robert Glasper, Dave Chappelle, Mos Def, Common, Maimouna Youssef, and countless others. At this early stage of his career, he is continuing to produce and direct feature films, documentaries, and music videos.
