Director Biography - Matthias Pöltinger

Matthias Pöltinger, born 1998 in Aalen (Germany), began to fascinate himself early in his childhood for the medium of film. Through animated films and short films with his inner circle of friends, he started to study "Conception and Directing" at the medienakademie in Munich in 2016, which he graduated with a B.A.
In addition to his studies, Pöltinger worked as a working student at ZEISS Cinema Lenses, where he served as tester for the newest lens prototypes and as DoP for Imagefilms. After several jobs as freelance DoP and Camera Assistant, Pöltinger now studies Cinematography in a Masters Degree at the Hamburg Media School.
