Omar Camilo is a creator who knows all the fundamentals of the game. He is the winner of two Emmy Awards as Director and Editor including five nominations by the Television Academy in 2017.
For more than 17 years, he has worked as a director, producer, cinematographer and editor in film, radio and television. His documentary “La Mujer Maravilla Sobre Ruedas” (The Wonder Woman On Wheels) has been seen in more than 18 countries in America through the DOCTV Latin America series and is currently distributed in Asia and other markets around the world.
His web series “Mundo Breve” (Brief World) which presents unique stories from Puerto Rican filmmakers was nominated in the director category at the prestigious Emmy Awards and has received more than 50 official selections to Film Festivals world-wide resulting in 26 international awards including HBO New York Latino Film Festival and the 35th Chicago Latino Film Festival.
