The Edge of Reality is a very small part of a very large world... it's a day in the life of a character with much more story to tell... He's a man in his late 50's, considered washed up and a 'has been'... but Derek doesn't even feel like he's ever had his 'moment in the sun'... when everyone else says your days are numbered, what are you going to do?
