'Tales from Via Francigena' is about the people the Via Francigena is crowded with: pilgrims, “ospitalieri”, hotel keepers, volunteers, a small part of a rich humanity who has forged a visceral bond with the route. Interviews alternate with images of amazing landscapes appearing in front of you: the mountains of the Aosta Valley, the green of the rice paddies and the Tuscan hills are just a few examples of breathtaking places leading to Rome. Through the protagonists' stories you can understand the different meanings such an experience can have and the feelings and sensations it makes you feel.
