5X5FT is about the concept of isolation and the blurred lines between life and work in a rapidly growing digital age. These concepts are visually represented in a virtual reality space, where the protagonist’s private and working life merges, as well as his reality within an artificial world.
We believed that humans never truly wished to be alone, and technology is made and gradually improved to fit human needs and make communication more accessible. However, with technology's gradual attempt to simulate reality through alternative ways of communication, we are ironically isolated more than ever.
