Binary

Binary is a story composed of two stages: the nature and the city. Both have something in common, the human being who is able to create, develop and communicate with their senses, but now he has achieved a new form of expression, through the network and technology. Director Statement

I believe that cinema has the ability to recreate the simplest and deepest feelings that human beings have, and make it known to the world. Cinema is open your door to strangers and let them know who you really are.

Social networks have come to me as a tool that facilitates the control and access of the information. But, over time has become a form of communication, and transformed human interaction. The virtual world is becoming an essential part in human's active life.

I see friends, family, co-workers, teachers publish and share things in excess. Sometimes, stranger can know what they think, have access to personal information: violating accounts and becoming vulnerable.

I feel that the use becomes obsessive and dependent, far away from the ability to interact with people from the same environment, and interpersonal relationships become less entrenched. Somehow you lie when you create an avatar and most importantly encourages to move away from reality itself, avoiding living here and now, the introspection for personal growth itself is forgotten.

Most people who have this facility are aware of the risks that may arise, but at the same time they marvel at the emergence of new ways of communicating. The media carried an invented world, consisting of interior courtyards, corridors extracted, friends anywhere and placed in a virtual community, being carried over the tradition of modernity.

A connection attempt, but it also a disconnection process, where the human relationship is transformed.
