3039: Ascention- Pilot

Our story begins with Xandria Night. She is one of a few music stars left in The United Lands. Her career is monitored and controlled by VonAxton Iscillicus, soon to be Grand Judge of The UL and CEO of Cil Corp. For many years Xandria has used her fame to secretly assemble a rebel army called The Archetypes. Today, February 18, 3038, is VonAxton’s inauguration day. Archetype members from across the country are planning to attend and peacefully protest his inauguration, as well as, The Cleansing Process and The Underground System that have been staples of Von's campaign.

As Von is giving his inaugural speech, tensions grow between The Archetypes and most of the crowd, who loyally support the Iscillicus family and their ideals. This tension quickly escalates to a violent clash between the two groups. In an attempt, not only to stop the fighting, but also to corral his citizens into The Cleansing Camps, Von releases his army of militant Alpha Androids on the crowd and chaos ensues. The citizens of The UL have never seen such technology in their lives and even those who are in support of The Camps, now try to fight against the Alphas and escape. But they are no match for the humanoid robots.

Meanwhile we are taken back in time, to Oct 13, 3002. It is Von’s 16th birthday. On this day, he learns that the Rakdis (Illuminated Ones), rulers of the universe, have prophesized that he is destined to be the chosen one. They have for-seen that he will not only be a prominent leader in The United Lands, but he is the only person who will be able to prepare humanity for ascension to the Zegatem (Mega System) and save them from Zazgedeba (Black Hole of Death) before it reaches Earth in the year 3039. Young VonAxton Iscillicus is thrust into the role of savior and is forced to sacrifice his girlfriend in order to prove his loyalty to the Rakdi Coalition.

Upon returning to the year 3038, we find that Von has successfully forced most of The United Land’s population into his grotesque and inhumane Cleansing Camps. In a final attempt to ensure the Rakdis that Humans are ready for ascension, VonAxton watches, with much regret, as his youngest son makes a horrific sacrifice for The Coalition of his own. In the end Von is introduced to a 5D FlexFeel version of the girl he sacrificed for the coalition and we are introduced to The Underground System.

Writer Statement

I am interested in telling this story because despite the magically futuristic world it is set in, it is a mirror of our society today and an example of what life on Earth can become if we do not make some big changes very soon. I personally connect to this story because there is a bit of me in each character. And because throughout the years that I have been creating this world, it has served as an outlet for me to express my concerns not only for the future of mankind, but for our planet.
