Director Statement

In the movie the idea of truth and the way we handle it is central. Is our own version of the truth always true? Don't we make memories more beautiful than they might've been? And do we forget things on purpose? This is the concept the director wanted to play with in 'Closed Doors'; and also the problem in the movie, because as a viewer we get to see Jasper's world, but is his version of the truth as close to the truth as he thinks?
