Silent in the Moonlight

A story about two high school lovers. An aspiring filmmaker and an intelligent student fall in love over their shared passion for classic movies. Damien Marshall (Cameron Burrill) is planning on making his biggest film yet to sell to a producer in Hollywood so he can live his dream and make it big. Nadine (Faith Branch), is in a dying relationship desperate to leave while also being pressured by her parents to choose her path in life. When she finds Damien, they both get to work on helping him achieve his dream. Yet, their mutual drive for success ends up testing the strength of their own relationship, leaving both Damien and Nadine a difficult problem to solve.

Director Biography - Matthew Magnus

As an 18 year old aspiring filmmaker, I am trying to get ahead of my game. I started small, just making little home videos for me and my cousin to watch and laugh. But then I started getting serious. I started experimenting with film more as I got older. I taught myself the fundementals of filmmaking. Along the way I then started to shape my own style. I have made 5+ short films of my own and have played a major roll in over 10 separate films. Both student and professional. My next step after high school is going to the top film school in the nation, USC School of Cinematic Arts where I will expand my cinematic capabilities and learn more about the craft in order to master it in my future.
