Objective:
The promotion, development and diffusion of national cinematographic art and international cinematographic works, understood as the audiovisual message; For educational and entertainment purposes, in the quest to improve man, not only as an individual but also as a society.
General Conditions of Participation:
Participants who wish to send their films from any part of the world, as long as they are of legal age.
Short Films and Feature Films can be registered at the request of their producers or representatives online: through the movies platform, or the website: https://festivalslwf.wordpress.com, and the same filmmaker can register the films of their choice. Applying the corresponding rate.
FILM LENGTH:
Short films: less than 30 minutes
Feature films: more than 30 minutes.
Music videos: less than 30 minutes.
All those works with their finished post-production process can participate.
They must be presented in the original version, in their original language; But subtitled in Spanish or English, if the original language of the film is different from these.
Works that compete in different genres such as: Narrative, documentary, horror, animation, experimental, lgbt, science fiction and music video, will undergo a selection process with a panel of qualified professionals in the area.
The festival reserves the right to use partially or totally the works to project them during the development of the festival, taking into account that the copyright of the works remains in the possession of the owners.
Once selected the work can not be removed from the SLWF programming.
The registration of a work supposes the acceptance of this regulation.
Judges:
Formed by personalities of the audiovisual medium, of the arts and the national and international culture, invited by the organization to participate in festival.
Personas Persons directly related to the works in competition will be disqualified from joining the jury.
The decision of the official jury is unappealable.
Acceptance of the Bases
The sending of the film implies the acceptance of the present bases.
The organization of the contest reserves the right to make the decisions that it deems pertinent for those cases not foreseen in these bases.
