Frequent questions:

-Just by registering, will I have a promotional post on your networks?

Yes, ALL registered projects will have a promotional post to give you the maximum possible exposure. Normally festivals only publish the winners, but what if your project is not selected, what do you get from the festival? Probably nothing, that's why we're going to help you just by signing up. We believe that festivals have to contribute more to the filmmaker and this is our way of telling you that we are always with you.

-Do I lose my premiere if I am selected?
No, you don't lose it. Since it is a private pass for professionals in the sector and is not shown to the public, you will never lose your premiere.

-Can I participate if my project is online on any platform?
Yes. Although this is not usual either since festivals eliminate projects that are available online. We will never rule you out for that. The project is yours and yours alone and no festival should eliminate you for trying to find the best for your project. They only do this so they can have exclusivity, which seems very selfish to us. The project is yours and we support you 100x100 in everything you do to have more exposure.

-The name of your festival suggests that you only want new films? What is the production limit year?
Our festival name is aimed at new talent and filmmakers with new things to tell. We don't care if your project is from 2023 or 2018, if you have things to tell, we are here to listen to you and help you.

OUR MISSION:

To be the festival that brings you to professional cinema. We want to have the same impact on your career that Sundance Labs had on Quentin Tarantino. I don't know if you know the story but before making Reservoir Dogs. Tarantino in June 1991 shot a short film at Sundance Labs.

​It was a short film with 0 budget, starring him and Steve Buscemi (when he was also unknown). Sundance told Tarantino “We want you to do whatever you want, we want you to experiment, we want you to try something different.” After filming it, several famous directors came to the editing room to see the young director's short film. Tarantino says:

-Q.T: “The first group came in, there were a lot of people and everyone hated this sequence. They hated!”
-The director of photography told him “Not only is it a horrible sequence, the worst thing is knowing that it is going to be produced, if you do this in the real market they will fire you on the first try.
-Q.T: “Then another Group came to see my sequence. There was Terry Gilliam, Volker Schlöndorff and Stanley Donen. The editor guy and I were super depressed. Then Gilliam comes and says “ahhhh your sequence is great. Brilliant! Never in my life have black and white been so close.
-Q.T. I couldn't believe that he was talking about the sequence that everyone else hated.
-Gilliam: I'm not saying it's perfect, but you've tried something different and that's what I wanted to see.
-Q.T. Gilliam leaves and Schlöndorff comes.
-Schlöndorff: “Ahhhh the little genius”
-Q.T. The conclusion I drew from this while taking a walk in the woods was that this was going to be my career. There will be people who like what I do and people who won't. I better get used to it and get used to the idea because this is what it is.

​The short film was one of the key moments in the creation of Quentin Tarantino's debut film, Reservoir Dogs. The filmmaker has pointed out on several occasions the importance that event had for him, in which his proposals for long shots in which both the floor and a toilet were seen, were not liked by the veteran directors who supervised the workshop, a exception of one: Terry Gilliam. His support was fundamental in the start of the career of the legendary filmmaker who would become Quentin Tarantino.

Imagine if Tarantino had listened to the first group that viewed his scene. He possibly would have never filmed again.

Film Festival Regulations

1. Eligibility
1.1 The film festival accepts submissions of all genres, styles, and themes.
1.2 Films must be a minimum of 60 minutes in length to qualify as features.
1.3 Short films should have a maximum duration of 60 minutes.
1.4 Series, TV pilots, web media, and documentaries have no specific duration limits.
1.5 Music videos are eligible for submission.
1.6 Screenplays are eligible, with short scripts limited to 30 pages and feature scripts limited to 180 pages.

2. Language
2.1 Submissions are accepted in the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
2.2 Submissions in other languages must be subtitled in English, Spanish, French, German, or Italian.

3. Entry Fees
3.1 All entry fees are mandatory and non-refundable.

4. Usage Rights
4.1 Participants declare and guarantee that they hold all necessary usage rights for the submitted film.
4.2 Participants further guarantee that the use of the film in the context of this agreement does not infringe upon the rights of third parties, including individuals depicted in the film.
4.3 The festival shall not be held responsible for any legal actions arising from the infringement of usage rights.

5. Screening Fee
5.1 The festival does not provide a screening fee for selected films or projects.

6. Organizational Authority
6.1 The organizers retain the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule festival dates, venues, awards, and categories without prior consent.

7. Category Adjustments
7.1 The festival reserves the right to introduce new categories when deemed appropriate.
7.2 Categories may be eliminated if the minimum required number of participants is not met.

8. Promotion
8.1 The festival's primary aim is to promote submitted works.
8.2 By registering, participants agree that the festival may send press releases about their projects to distributors and other festivals for promotional purposes.

9. Submission Material
9.1 If requested materials for cinema screenings are not provided by the participant, the project may be disqualified.
9.2 All screenings are conducted in a professional cinema setting, and the absence of required materials may hinder the festival's ability to showcase the work effectively.
