It's Our Turn to act, produce, direct, and speak our truth in the world of film. The It’s Our Turn Film and Video Festival focuses on women and their often overlooked roles in the film industry, and endeavors to showcase the often untold struggles and issues people face because of gender. Submissions must have at least one woman in one of the key production positions: (Producer, Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor, Lead Actress). Projects that are produced and/or directed by men are accepted as long as there is a lead female protagonist and/or the story is based around female themes. Emphasis will be placed on storytelling and creativity, not on production value and budget. Have fun with it and tell a story that matters!

Selected films will be shown at the Young Woman's Conference at Brentwood School on January 25th.
