The BWE Film & Television Festival® ​2022 has officially launched the start of its season with the opening of submissions for its film and television festival. The festival is now accepting Feature Film, Short Film, Episodic and Music Video submissions through December 13th in all categories. Official selections will be eligible for category awards and individual achievement awards.

This year there will be a special tribute to screenwriter Kevin Williamson, honoring his work in the industry to include special guest panels at LA LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles. The Kevin Williamson Tribute will also be screening every film he's written: Teaching Mrs. Tingle, The Faculty, Cursed, I Know What You Did Last Summer and the SCREAM-A-THON to honor his Scream franchise. The SCREAM-A-THON will show Scream, Scream 2, Scream 3 and Scream 4 back to back leading up to the midnight premiere of the new Scream (2022!)

All content must be owned by the applicant. Copyright material shall not be submitted unless written permission is submitted and secured with approval for broadcast.

Content produced or funded by a broadcast or cable network is ineligible to compete, however it may be submitted in consideration for a specialty screening.

All foreign-language content must have English subtitles or be dubbed in English.

Additional press kit materials may be included, including trailers, stills, etc… but is not mandatory.
