The ultimate nod to the film that entertained, moved, and captivated you the most. Which movie stole your heart and deserves to be celebrated as the best of the fest?

🎥 Best Direction:
Who steered the ship with finesse and brought the vision to life on screen? The Best Director award recognizes the mastermind behind the camera.

🌟 Best Actor:
Which performer left you in awe with their compelling portrayal of a character? Your vote decides who takes home the coveted Best Actor award.

📝 Best Short Script:
Great films start with great stories. The Best Script award will honour writers who crafted unforgettable narratives. We will provide a production incentive of $300 along with production support to 1 winning film, subject to acceptance of festival terms and conditions.

🎥 "Not a Festival Film Festival" Submission Rules 📜

We're delighted that you're considering submitting your work to the "Not a Festival Film Festival," where innovation and entertainment shine. To ensure a smooth process and celebrate the best in short films, please take a moment to review our submission rules:

1. **Film Duration**: Films submitted must have a runtime of no more than 20 minutes. We believe in the power of concise storytelling.

2. **Freshness Counts**: Submitted films should be completed within the last two years, showcasing the latest and greatest in your creative journey.

3. **Language Accessibility**: Films must be in English or include English subtitles. We aim to make the festival accessible to a broad audience.

4. **Copyright Responsibility**: The applicant holds sole responsibility for obtaining copyright clearance for any copyrighted material featured in the film. Please ensure you have the necessary permissions in place.

5. **Promotional Rights**: By submitting your film, you grant the "Not a Festival Film Festival" the right to use a trailer, stills, images, and posters for promotional purposes. Your work will be showcased in various film magazines, social media platforms, websites, and more, amplifying your reach and recognition.

6. **Format Submission**: Upon selection, the submitter must provide a DCP or HD MOV (QuickTime) of the film within the specified time frame. This ensures the best possible presentation of your work during the festival. Kindly note the festival only screens DCP in its theatrical premieres.

7. **Fees** - We do not offer a screening fee to any selected films.

8. **Indemnification** - All submitters agree to indemnify and hold harmless the 'Not A Festival Film Festival', its partners, associates, sponsors, venues, agents, etc. By submitting your film to our festival, you certify that you are a 100% copyright owner or have collected all necessary approvals or copyrights towards all creative work in your project that maybe required for a public screening.
