First and foremost, I want to start by saying a HUGE thank you to everyone at MOMETU who made this film festival possible for aspiring directors like ourselves! From the jump, they were so friendly and kept us in the loop of how the process would go if we were selected and if we had any questions along the way. They provided us with panels from the industry, film distribution inquiries, networking opportunities & much more! I could go on and on about how amazing this festival is, but all I can say is APPLY!!!! You will not regret it and the opportunities that come with this are unbelievable! I am proud to have been and won in MOMETU's first film festival ever and I look forward to the journey ahead after all of the opportunities that came my way after this film festival! I 110% recommend this to any upcoming filmmaker who wants to share their film with the world and find an uplifting community! :)

This is such a fantastic opportunity for any filmmaker in college or fresh out of college. Every submission is valued and all the accepted filmmakers are generously taken care of with industry professional panels and networking opportunities with other student filmmakers up to thousands of miles away. One of the only ways to make it in the film industry these days is to get a head start on your own work. Mometu Film Festival is that head start. It needs to become a rite of passage at every film school in the country.
