Welcome to the Lake Tahoe International Film Festival, a platform for celebrating and showcasing exceptional documentary filmmaking talent from around the world. We are excited to have you submit your films and participate in our festival. To ensure a fair and smooth process for all, please read and adhere to the following rules and terms:

1. Eligibility:
Submissions must be non-fiction documentary films.
Filmmakers of all nationalities are welcome to participate.
Films submitted must be in English or include English subtitles.

2. Submission Categories:
We accept documentaries of all lengths.
Categories may include, but are not limited to, Feature Length, Short Film, and Emerging Filmmaker.

3. Submission Process:
Submission fees are non-refundable.
Each filmmaker may submit multiple films, but each submission requires a separate entry fee.
Please include a brief synopsis and filmmaker bio with each submission.
Fees vary depending on the submission category and the date of submission.

4. Selection Process:
Submissions will be reviewed by our selection committee.
Selected films will be notified via email by April 3th, 2024
The decision of the selection committee is final.

5. Festival Screenings:
Selected films will be screened live during the Lake Tahoe International Film Festival.
Filmmakers are encouraged to attend and participate in Q&A sessions after their screenings.
Screening schedules will be provided 1 month in advance.
If accepted, Filmmakers will not withdraw the film(s) from LTIFF.

6. Rights and Permissions:
By submitting a film, filmmakers grant the Lake Tahoe International Film Festival the right to screen the film during the festival and use clips/trailers for promotional purposes.
Filmmakers must ensure they have obtained all necessary rights and permissions for their films.

7. Travel and Accommodation:

Filmmakers are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses to attend the festival.
