CURIOSA es La Muestra Mensual de Cortometrajes de Granada, España. Nuestra selección se basa en trabajos con calidad de festival de cualquier parte del mundo y de cualquier género cinematográfico. Trabajamos en colaboración con La Variable, un espacio multifuncional ubicado en el centro de la ciudad, en donde proyectamos los trabajos seleccionados el primer lunes de cada mes.

La convocatoria y el proceso de selección son mensuales.

Queremos compartir con nuestrxs vecinxs y el público local en general este formato que muchas veces pasa desapercibido, a la par que mantener un espacio de encuentro y celebración.

CURIOSA is The Monthly Short Film Showcase of Granada, Spain, screening film festival quality works, of any genre, from all over the world. We work in collaboration with La Variable, a multifunctional space in the heart of the city, where we showcase the selected works on the first Monday of every month.

The open call and the selection process are monthly.

Our aim is to share this frequently overlooked format with our neighbours and the local public, while simultaneously creating a space to meet others and celebrate these works.

Curiosa also celebrates its annual event with a selection of the best short films of the year, awarding the following prizes to the filmmakers:

LEE DETENIDAMENTE

Estamos en la búsqueda de trabajos de cualquier género cinematográfico que encaje dentro del siguiente criterio:

• IMPORTANTE: no se aceptan guiones.
• Los cortos deben ser de máximo 20 minutos de duración, incluyendo créditos.
• Los cortos que no sean de habla hispana deben estar subtitulados al español, si se aplica.
• No se requiere premier mundial.
• No se aceptan trabajos en proceso.
• CURIOSA no ofrece reembolsos.

READ VERY CAREFULLY

We are looking for works from all over the world and from any genre that meet the following criteria:

• IMPORTANT: screenplays are not accepted.
• Films must be under 20 minutes, including credits.
• All non-spanish speaking works must have Spanish subtitles, if applicable. If your film has English subtitles only, please contact us.
• We do not require a world premiere.
• We do not accept works in progress.
• CURIOSA DOES NOT offer refunds on submissions.
