A fun filled three day event at the state of the art Epic Theatre in Mount Dora, Florida (40 minutes from Orlando) over the weekend of January 24th through January 26th, 2025. Networking opportunities, panel discussions, screenings and an award show with special guest presenters. Also, meet and mingle networking functions will be held each night in our filmmaker lounge at the festival theater.

All official selections receive ONE (1) free VIP 3-Day pass, which includes access to the award show and all panel discussions.

Our festival was named to the "Top 25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" in MovieMaker Magazine - 2012 and received a top 100 Film Festival rating by FilmFreeway in September 2016. Come celebrate Independent Film with us!

Awards & Prizes

Winning filmmakers in each category receives a beautiful plaque presented at our award show. Best Dramatic, Comedic and Documentary Feature winners additionally receive a guaranteed first look deal with Miles Media Entertainment.

Rules & Terms

1.) All projects that gain Official Selection must be submitted to CENFLO in DCP (Digital Cinema Package) format in order to screen at our festival theater.

2.) Upon being selected into the festival, you will receive instructions and login information to upload your project materials in the "Welcome to CENFLO" email sent by our Operations Director. Questions about DCP's (for those unfamiliar with the process of creating one) can be sent to our Programming Director at: cenfloprogdir@gmail.com

3.) Official Selection filmmakers will allow their names, project clips and film titles to be used for current and future CENFLO festival advertising and promotional materials.

4.) All SHORT FILM submissions must be 40 minutes or less (including credits).

    I am delighted that my short documentary film, "Saving Jaguars and Ourselves" screened at CENFLO! The theater is very nice with large screens and comfortable seats. Brendon and Jennifer are both very helpful and the audience was very engaged.

    Central Florida Film Festival (CENFLO) recently selected our film that was nominated for Best Documentary category a film that delved into the captivating life of Kim Kahana, titled "Kim Kahana: The Man Who Changed Hollywood." Directed by Frank Sollecito, presents a deeply personal and engaging portrait of a Hollywood stunt legend.
    At CENFLO the screening of this documentary undoubtedly left a lasting impression to all that attended, and the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Mr. Kahana at the was a highlight of the Festival, Executive Director Brendon Rogers selection of this film reflects a keen appreciation for compelling storytelling and cinematic excellence. The documentary's inclusion in the festival lineup speaks to its merit as a significant and impactful contribution to contemporary filmmaking. This festival is a must for filmmakers to enter.

    What a great festival. We were grateful to be chosen for the screening of our film "More Than Just Another". A wonderful venue to see our film and the other films were well done. Check in was great and the after screening networking was so nice. They had interviews on the red carpet that they posted which highlighted filmmakers..we truly appreciated that.. such a nice touch! Thank you Central Florida Film Festival!

    Thank you for selecting our short doc , ENCORE LEARNING, to be screened at CENFLO. It was very exciting to see it on the huge screen.
