Brendan O’Neill has been making films since 2008. Since then he’s been selected for 2 regional, 3 national and 2 international talent schemes.
He’s an alumnus of the Filmonomics scheme run by Oscar winning producer Mia Bays. This was on the back of conceiving and curating 6 of the Best Festival (#6Bestfest) in January 2017 which featured 6 new films by British women.
He won the UK parliamentary Film the House award in 2015 and the Sci-Cine Film Festival Best Short Short in 2016. His 2022 short The Harrowing was shortlisted in the Best Short Short category of the Performance Insurance Awards in 2023.
He was a Stowe Story Labs fellowship finalist in 2021.
