Award Winning BreakOut Music, Movie, & Media (BOM) invites you to submit to its Premier festival for filmmakers, musicians, comedians, and podcasters who deserve break-out achievement recognition. This remarkable showcase aims to underscore the power of compelling content that stands out from the crowd and deserves to be celebrated.

BOM, a prolific independent music and film company based in the heart of Beverly Hills, California, has successfully secured multi-year exclusives on major streaming platforms, including Netflix, Amazon, TUBI, showcasing the fully monetized script-to-screen effectiveness of BOM originals.

With musicians whose talents have graced the Billboard, Mediabase, and iTunes charts, as well as extensive tours across the USA, BreakOut Music has become synonymous with groundbreaking success. Joint CEOs Miriam Bavly and Peter John, members of the Grammy Academy (LA and New Orleans chapters respectively) are passionate about celebrating and supporting the triumphs of fellow musicians and filmmakers. BOM Film Festival’s goal is to give all creators the opportunity to showcase their best work and shine a light on those who are ready to go the distance.

All submissions will have the choice and opportunity to be seen for eight weeks on BOM PIC Global TV, an international streaming platform owned by BOM. Content with the largest subscriber viewership will win the People’s Choice of the Festival. The winner of the People’s Choice award will earn $1000, as well as be provided with a platform demographic data report for their content, to inform future strategic distribution strategies for your content.

In addition, BOM Film Festival will be creating a NEW category, called “Best Scene under 4 minutes from a short or feature film”. This is an opportunity to celebrate the power of a scene and highlight how one extraordinary scene can impact the marketing success of a film. We want to see your best scenes and we will celebrate them!

Other important categories include feature films, short films, podcasts, songs, music videos, stand-up comedy, musical theater, and more. Please see below for the full list of submission categories and awards. Note: we will be giving higher priority to content that is respectful of all people and does not offend any race, gender, or creed.

The BOM Film Festival, hosted at the prestigious London West Hollywood Hotel at Beverly Hills on November 2nd, 2024 from 6pm-11pm (limited spaces available), is a one-night extravaganza designed to shine a spotlight on the tireless efforts of passionate creatives whose work deserves to break out. Every piece of content has its unique story, and at this BOM Film Festival, each selected work to reach the winner’s circle will be showcased in an unprecedented montage of excellence, a first in the history of Hollywood film festivals.

The pinnacle of the evening will be the announcement of distribution contracts for deserving talents, as well as the recognition of creators, musicians, and filmmakers who will receive the night’s highest honors of Best in Festival.

This exclusive affair will bring together legends, musicians, comedians, podcasters, actors, and filmmakers from around the world, creating an environment ripe for networking and collaboration in the epicenter of where stars are made!
