In 1896, the first cinema screening in Istanbul took place at the Sponeck Pub in Beyoğlu district. After the screening of this film by the Lumiere brothers, Beyoğlu became the heart of cinema and festivals. Our team has been organizing independent, avant-garde film screenings in the Beyoğlu region since 2018, giving filmmakers the artist experience they deserve and attaching great importance to their film projects.
Every film carries traces of the artist who made it, we always put this at the forefront.
Our festival is managed by a group of young, cinephile artists. Films of all genres, budgets of all sizes, and any aesthetic are, in our opinion, the main thing that makes cinema the best art form.
Our team, which has organized 12 physical screenings so far, organizes exclusive interviews with the artists, prepares a special festival catalog and creates a large film archive.
While our festival was limited to Istanbul in its first year, it has turned into a structure that works with artists on a global scale since its second season. And now we are active on FilmFreeway!
We continue to keep the concept of "Auteur Cinema" alive with both our physical and online activities and we give the international support it deserves to cinema.

Aventure à Beyoğlu is a very distinguished festival, it creates a serious festival catalog and prepares a certificate program for the winning filmmakers. In addition, our creative team includes special magazine articles for participating films and designs artist interviews.

Rules and Terms:
After you complete your submission to our festival, It will be certain that you read all of our rules and terms, and you have accepted them. Our Rules and Terms are;

1) After the submission is complete there will be no refund from our festival.
2) If your film has any kind of copyright isue. (such as used soundtrack, or screenplay etc) Our festival won't be responsible for any kind of copyright problem. Every film has to be %100 original or %100 copyright claimed, if your film has a copyright isue, producer/director of the film will be responsible and your film can be disqualified.
3) After the submission is complete, filmmakers accepts that they have willingly submited and they cannot argue on our jury's decisions. Our jury is independent and they are rating these movies with they're free will.
4) By submiting your film, you are letting our festival to use your film in promotion. This means that we will have a permition to screen your film at events and online events, and we can use clips or photos from your film at our Instagram account and on our official website.
5) All films has to have an English subtitles exported on the film itself. If a film doesn't has subtitles, we will contact the filmmaker from their emails. If filmmakers won't send us the subtitled version, their film will be disqualified.
6) All projects must be submitted via a password-protected Vimeo link attached to your submission or uploaded directly to FilmFreeway. We will download your film from these options.
