Yuanxu Li is a young director from China who is pursuing his film dream. He aspires to provide the public with films that contain unique insights through his observations of society and contemplation of human nature. With nearly 5 years of media experience, he possesses rigorous logical thinking, can conduct in-depth exploration of content, and make precise judgments on value. In terms of creative works, he both has simplicity and innovation. He not only enjoys capturing authentic moments of life in the form of documentaries, but also explores and challenges various artistic styles.
During his pursuit of a master's degree at the University of Sydney, he directed multiple works of different forms for the first time, achieving excellent results. For instance, he conveyed the concept of kindness through a horror-themed VR work, expressed the loss of innocence in adulthood through animation, and depicted the struggles of young individuals under work pressure through experimental film. Among them, the documentary film "Grandma Never Leaves Home" was awarded USYD SCA Turramurra Music Craft Award ; VR work was selected into Reels International Film Festival, and Crown Wood International Film Festival.
