Experiencing Interruptions?

Girl Power

Three inspirational girls from Bradford reveal their hopes and fears in this powerful short film directed by New Focus Impressions Gallery’s young people’s collective.

New Focus member Kanwal takes us around the Bradford district to meet Alice who was diagnosed with craniosynostosis as a baby; Amaira, who expresses her passion for equality; and eleven year old Kiara who shares her fears for the environment.

Girl Power is inspired by Impressions Gallery’s exhibition Being Inbetween by Carolyn Mendelsohn, a series of eye-catching photographic portraits of girls aged between ten and twelve.
