A short tinderbox story of an equanimous man who takes care of a debilitated girl day in and day out. He pores over the memories of her days of high spirit and vigor, but always returns to the reality of his daily task which he performs dotingly. Time unfolds memories that are like souvenirs, echoing through empty chambers and and slowly finding their way to his heart only racing against time.
