The Job I Do

Parodying the British Documentary and the British themselves, this is a documentary in the traditional British sense, looking into the typical work of some of the lesser known jobs in the UK, and the characters who do this work. This film looks at the job of a local Garage Checker - a very important role for a certain kind of character responsible and up to the task.

This film was made simply as an entertaining piece for family and friends, however, it ended up reflecting the great and interesting British characters you pass every day, who have wonderful lives of their own, which you are rarely privy too. The film came out of a set of improvised interviews we film each year, and the idea just grew into "What would it be like to see this person at work, in such an important role".

I do hope you enjoy it. When watching it always think of it as a real documentary, makes it so much better that way.
