  • It was a pleasure to bring my film, 'The Firefox Guardian' to Woodpecker International Film Festival this year. It bagged the best student film award and was very well received at the festival. What's interesting about this festival is the kind of crowd it pulls. Cinephiles of all ages, professors, students, filmmakers and professionals engage with the screenings and always have interesting questions for the filmmakers. I enjoyed interacting with the audience after my screening. The festival director himself made it a point to interact with all filmmakers and the communication throughout was brilliant. Made some great friends there! Highly recommend this festival to all alternate cinema lovers. Well done, team!

  • It was a wonderful experience having our film Laatsahab selected at WIFF 2018. The quality of Q&A was really really good. The selection of films is very good and tends to bring out a wide variety of films.
