WHY DO WE KEEP PUSHING? - A short film about Skateboarding
"WHY DO WE KEEP PUSHING? - A short film about Skateboarding " questions the reasons that push us, skateboarders, to keep doing what we're doing.
Alexis Gautier attempts to provide an answer, through images shot during the last two Thrasher's CPH Opens in Copenhagen, Denmark, where the world's best skateboarders gather every year.

Alexis Gautier is a filmmaker living in Paris.
He fell in love with Skateboarding in his early teenage years and always loved the aesthetics he could see in magazines and videos.
He shot and edited his first Skateboarding full length when he was 17 years old, with the dream to become a pro filmer one day. But for some unknown reasons, he then let his camera on a shelf and never used it again.
Almost 18 years later, it was about time for him to pick up a camera again and do what he always wanted to do : capturing moments of Life, whether it’s about Skateboarding or not.
