Who loves Pankratov?

Vasiliy Pankratov, an ordinary auto mechanic, lives in Moscow suburbs with his wife and their son. One day he receives a paper letter from unknown Vadim, who makes a love confession to Vasiliy. Pankratov becomes enraged, as he can’t accept unconventional love. He is going to find the author of the offensive letter so as to punish him. However, letters keep coming, and with every new letter Pankratov feels that something changes in his soul. He starts checking the mailbox every day, looking forward to new letters from Vadim.

Director Biography

Uliana was born in Moscow. She does Media Studies in the Higher School of Economics.

“Who loves Pankratov?” is a debut movie for the director. The script is based on the modern theatre play by Dmitriy Karapuzov.
