Yun-tien Chu is a Brussels based Taiwanese filmmaker. She studied film history research in France and documentary in Belgium. She has worked as a production assistant for director Tsai Ming-Liang. In 2016 Yun-tien made her first video installation 'My home is on the other side’.
Becoming a mother and a child are both tender experiences in life. In this story, we try to go back to the very beginning of our feelings, the memories of the separation of the child and the mother, and try to embrace this child and the traumatized mother. Invariably, this creation became a healing journey for us.
