Lobo Marino - We Hear The Ocean
Directors Keagan Anfuso and Drew L. Brown developed this concept through an interpretation of the stages of meditation.
The main subject, Laney Sullivan, is seen entering her state of meditation and then intercut with visuals of the place she has built in her mind to interact with her emotions. In this mental space, Laney addresses her emotions of fear, guilt, anger, and sadness by allowing them all to come forward and express themselves. Through confronting each emotion, she then is able to achieve a balance among her emotions and they begin to move in unity. This unity breaks down the wall she has built between herself and her emotions, portrayed by Jameson Price, and he unwinds her from the binding she has trapped herself in. Laney is then freed from her coping mechanisms and has absorbed all of her scattered emotions into a peaceful and balanced version of herself.
