Amir who is a friend of David. Every day he distributes newspapers in the village on his bicycle. He is looking for David's bullet casings. He offers Davood a shooting contest to get the shells, which Davood does not accept
One night, David hears a gunshot. He goes near the border to pick up Pokeh, who meets an Afghan girl named Rana, who is across the border. Davood asks the reason for his presence Rana says the reason for his presence is listening to Sarbaz radio because the only place where radio can be heard around their village is the border.
Acquaintance with Rana affects Davood and he who can not listen to the radio in their village. He comes to the border every night to listen to the story of the night. After a while, the military service period ends. For this reason, Rana and Davood can no longer listen to the story of the night.
David asks his grandmother to tell him the story. David tells Rana the stories his grandmother tells him. Grandmother does not remember the end of the story. Davood goes to Amir, gives a package to Amir and asks him to ask the newspaper writers at the end of the story.
