The David F. Watkins Memorial Park
This park project was the vision of Hot Springs National Park's late City Manager, David F. Watkins. He hoped to provide a beautiful park where a blighted property had been.

Michael Mueller was born in Germany and has been a film buff and cinema lover since his early childhood. He moved to the United States in 1994 to pursue a film-oriented education and graduated as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Alabama in 1999. He has lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas since 2000 and runs a video production company specializing in documenting people and events.
Michael has contributed video work to national and international television programs, including the Emmy-nominated segment "The Dish" by Sarah French for WHDH-TV7 News in Boston, the Canadian Broadcast TV documentary "Patrick, Pagans and Party Animals", interactive textbooks by Cambridge University Press and special features of major Hollywood Blu-ray discs ("Halloween: The Complete Collection"). His comedy short "Voyage to Spain" screened at the 2012 Arkansas Shorts Festival and his feature-length documentary "Petrella: The First Lady of Country Soul" was shown the 2013 Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival.
