War of the Youth

Knowing Hei’s hidden love towards Ling, the campus belle, Wisdom, the class perfect taunts Hei on purpose. Ching, Hei’s friend since childhood, cannot stand his taunt. She assists Hei to form a nominated cabinet of the Student Union (SU) committee and starts a battle between Hei and Wisdom, fighting over the position of SU president, as well as the right to pursue Ling. However, Wisdom’s mother is the president of parent-teacher association (PTA) in school. In order to flatter her, the vice principal Xu take advantage of his duties to obstruct Hei and his peers. Wisdom’s cabinet is far ahead, can Hei turn the tables?

Director Biography - HO FUNG

其短片作品《天知道》曾參與多個海外影展，並獲第十八屆DigiCon6 Asia大賞「最佳努力賞」獎項。另一部短片作品《我的跟班同學》亦分別獲得 2015 中國粤港澳微電影明星大典“金種子獎”最佳粵語片及2017 南方影視中心首屆粵港澳大灣區(佛山)微電影節十佳電影等獎項。2017年完成劇情長片《青春戰記》並於同年8月影院上映，其後憑該片獲意大利影展最佳新晉導演獎、香港影藝國際電影節特別表揚等獎項。

賀峰自2004年起創辦香港影藝聯盟並擔任創會主席至今，同時獲邀擔任多個短片比賽評審，並於2016年起擔任瑞士閃爍環球短片節中國區競賽評審團主席。於2015年開始電影發行工作。同時亦活躍於幕前演出工作，曾參與電影、電視以及廣告等製作及演出。於2017年起在屯門珠海學院擔任專業應用講師，亦獲邀於其他院校、教育局及澳門院校擔任媒體創作導師或分享嘉賓。

HO's short film “God Knows” won the Certificate of Merit of the 18th Digicon6 Asia HK Award. Another short film “My Dear Classmate” also won the Best Micro-film (Drama) Award (Silver Prize), The 7th Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival (2014), and The Best Cantonese Film, China (Canton, Hong Kong and Macao) Golden Seed Prize for Micro-Film, China, 2015. His first feature film "War of the Youth" had been distributed and screening in Hong Kong Cinema. The film won The Best 1st Director Award in Oniros Film Awards, Italy, 2018 and Special Mention Award of The Best Feature Film, The Best Actor and The Best Actress in Hong Kong Film Art International Film Festival.

Since 2004, HO has been the co-founder, as well as the founding chairman of Hong Kong Film Art Association and started produced short films and feature films. Recent years, he was also invited to be the judge in various film competitions or film projects in Hong Kong. Active on stage and backstage, HO is also involved in Television, film and Advertisement production. In 2016, HO is invited to be the 14th and 15th China National Jury Chairman of shnit Worldwide Shortfilmfestival, Switzerland.
