2020 - Corona regulations prohibit prostitution. Brothels are closing. Like many sex workers, Martha, Elena and Toni are forced to offer themselves on the street, where the defenselessness of the women is mercilessly exploited.
Trust in the state and the police seems to have been extinguished, so the three sex workers take the initiative and fight back.

Director Biography - Joscha Seehausen

Born in 1991 in Germany, Joscha started his career as Cameraman for WDR. Worked as Director of Photography for documentaries (WWF/BBC) Movies (ZDF Kleines Fernsehspiel) and TV-Series (DMAX, ZDF, ARD) he later started directing Comedy-Sketches for "Heute Show" (ZDF), Cindy aus Marzahn Show (RTL), Binge Reloaded (Amazon Prime) and created various commercials for Mercedes, Lexus, Seitenbacher and many more. "Walküren" is his first self written and self produced feature.

We wanted to show everybody what happened to sex workers during the covid pandemic. It is a tough topic and It is a tough film. But it is a story worth to be told and seen.
